About

After continuously adding to my toolbox for over 20 years, my treatment style is now an unstructured mashup of acupuncture, bodywork, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and Reiki. I rarely leave the room during treatments unless an acu-nap is specifically requested, instead staying by the treatment table to layer modalities and therapeutically co-regulate. Traditional Chinese Medicine herbal products and TCM food therapy guidance can also be included for daily at-home support.

Current registration: Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P #101655)

I arrived in Victoria in 2019 after living all over the US. My wife and I feel incredibly fortunate to call this beautiful place home. We share our lives with tiny woodland creatures in the form of two free-roaming house bunnies, Nova Explosion and Captain Buzzy Zephyr.

Beyond the clinic, I’m an avid outrigger canoe racer (Team Canada 2025), world traveller, mountain wanderer, critter snuggler, and lover of all things art, history, and food.

Education: Emergency Medical Technician Certificate (Front Range Community College) 2000, Bachelor of Arts: Medieval/Renaissance Studies (Wellesley College) 2002, Certificate of Massage Therapy (Maui School of Therapeutic Massage) 2004, Reiki I-III 2004, Masters of Science: Oriental Medicine (Traditional Chinese Medicine College of Hawaii) 2012.

Previous (not current) licenses in the US: Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician 2000-2003, Licensed Massage Therapist 2004-2014. I never held either designation in Canada.
